Privacy Policy
How Libivert (Pty) Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal information. Last updated 17 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Libivert (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. 2023/547362/07), 34 Eike Avenue, Roux Park, Worcester, South Africa, is the responsible party for the personal information described here. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). Contact and Information Officer: services@libivert.com, WhatsApp +27 62 536 7296.
2. What we collect
- Account and order details: name, company name, email address, phone number, postal and billing address, and your login details.
- Domain registration details: the registrant name, address, email and phone required by domain registries.
- Payment information: which payment method you used and the transaction reference. Your card or bank details are entered on the payment provider’s own page (PayPal or PayFast) and are never stored by us.
- Messages: what you send us through the contact form, email or WhatsApp.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through server logs and cookies.
- Content you host with us: your websites, files and videos, which we store only to provide the service.
3. Why we use it
- To process your orders, register domains, set up hosting and deliver your website or services.
- To invoice you, take payment and keep accounting records.
- To give support and reply to your enquiries.
- To send service messages such as invoices, renewal and expiry notices, and security alerts.
- To keep our systems secure and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
- To send news or offers only if you have agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.
We process your information because it is needed to carry out our contract with you, because the law requires it, because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing our business, or because you have given consent.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers we need to deliver our services, under agreements that require them to protect it:
- Domain registrars and registries (registration details, as required to register your domain).
- Payment providers (PayPal and PayFast) to process your payment.
- Hosting, content delivery and infrastructure providers (for example Cloudflare for video and streaming).
- Our billing system (WHMCS) and accounting software.
- Email and messaging services, including the WhatsApp contact option.
- Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers, and some of our customers, are outside South Africa. Your information may therefore be processed in other countries. Where this happens we take steps to make sure it stays protected to a standard similar to POPIA.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you have an account or service with us, and afterwards for as long as the law requires. Financial and invoicing records are normally kept for 5 years. When we no longer need information we delete it or make it anonymous.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and trusted providers. No system is completely secure, and if there is a breach that affects you we will tell you and the Information Regulator as the law requires.
8. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the website, your shopping cart, your login and your chosen currency to work. We may use basic analytics to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site, such as the cart and client area, will then not work.
9. Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to see it, to correct or delete it, to stop processing it, or to object to its use for marketing. You may also withdraw consent you have given. To do any of this email services@libivert.com. We reply within a reasonable time and may need to confirm who you are first.
If you are unhappy with how we handled your information you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the current one.
